I really enjoyed this

I happen to catch this short recently after a Judy Garland film "A Child Is Waiting" aired on TCM. I'm a movie buff and I enjoy "seeing the world" through the eyes of old films, and what caught my attention on this short was the color. I am not a film historian but I did notice the 1934 copyright in roman numerals and couldn't figure out how color was possible this early. I thought color in some films didn't start to happen until the late 30s. So, as I watched this short -- because the color was so unusual and strong -- I wondered if this had been colorized. I just sat there mesmerized and figured it had to be colorized. Well, I just checked out the facts here on IMDB and see that it was originally done in color. Boy am I amazed is all I have to say!
