Bernar McFadden ?

Does anybody else realize that the publishing company in this film is a satire of the published company of that era started by Bernarr McFadden ? (sp??)
McFadden started the " TRUE CONFESSION "/" TRUE STORY " genre of magazines , I believe still be published to this date !

And , McFadden published a number of " physical culture " magazines - which combined , if not nude , near-nude pictures , under the excuse of " celebrating the healthy body " (like nudist magazines) with physical fitness/good health advice ----- Some of which was crackpot and/or dubious , some of which was common sense , or even little spoken of at the time , IIRC .
