Ending is anti-climatic?
Just watched this on TCM and I was thoroughly disappointed with the ending. I guess at the final breakfast scene when he punches Connors ( I think that's his name?) and carries Hunter out to the car to "have a talk with her" that means that he loves her? I guess back in the day that would have been more of the norm since women were seen as more "precious" than by today's standards but watching it today it just seems kind of silly.
I'm also confused at the end she is still running around as Sylvia and purchased second class tickets to Paris. Does Tony still not know who she is or what's going on there?
