DVD release?

It was announced that Criterion was going to release Les Miserables 1934 on DVD as a part of their Eclipse set. Has anyone heard of any possible release dates, or if this project is even going to happen?

I have never seen it... It sucks because I am a HUGE Les Miz fan but I have yet to see the "definitive" movie as this one has been described. I can't wait for this summer.

From a Premiere magazine article talking about Criterion's new line called Eclipse:

"It's with the fourth Eclipse package that the label forcefully addresses the idea of introducing an unknown master. "His name is Raymond Bernard," Becker says, growing a little more animated. "He's a French filmmaker who began in the silent era, and the two films in this series are a five-hour adaptation of Les Miserables from 1934, and a 1932 war movie, Wooden Crosses. And they are just masterful."

I have one disc from Netflix obtained 3 or 4 years ago. I need the remainder but dropped Netflix when the membership fee sky-rocketed. Hoping to dup this evenings showing on VHS tapes.

Why VHS? I'm recording straight to DVD, VHS isn't really a bad medium but tape has a lifespan of maybe 10 years if you're lucky.
