On Right Now on TCM

I can't believe I messed this up. I wrote a note to myself to record this at 12AM Friday 14 but of course I was to stupid to actually set the recording. Thus I have missed the first hour and a half. Incredibly it is only up to the part of Fantine's death! I can't wait to watch this (I'm going to go to bed now that I know it is safely recording) as I have heard it is the best adaptation and the fact that the first hour and half and they are just getting to Cossette's story gives me hope.

I've had this 1934 version on my Netflix queue for weeks and the reviews say that netflix only has 190 min of the 280 minute feature! I hope between my poor attempts at recording this on TCM which is airing the whole 280 minute version and the eventual DVDs from netflix I'll be able see it all.

Oh, and I'm about 200 pages away from finishing the unabridged Charles E. Wilbour version the novel.

That sucks. I'd really like to see this version, my curiosity has been piqued by the sheer acclaim it's gotten, but I want to see the full version, not a cut one. I don't understand why Netflix would even carry a shortened version but not the full-length one, since obviously the full version is out there somewhere if TCM has played it.
