It seems that the IMDB is being used more and more for racist (i.e. ignorant) statements by those who know nothing: I would guess that those criticising the lack of free speech in Europe are over young and over willing to express views based on no facts. Sweden and Finland are but two countries in Europe - the EU alone consists of 30 countries and there are still other European countries that are not part of the EU. I'm sure it would not take a European long to find some equally stupid discrepancy between certain 'backward' states in the USA and the more 'forward thinking and liberal' countries in Europe. Clearly both comparisons are foolish. The UK and other European countries have not banned this film - in the UK it is Universal so that it can be seen by all ages and in Germany it is merely rated as 12. I do wish that those who are over-young and under-informed would not show their ignorance quite so freely and quite so often. Remember that 'The nationalist flag makes a wonderful blindfold'.

I am finnish and i know the reason. All Soviet, Nazi, Horror, Crime and erotic films were banned. The real reason is unclear...

What about a film that combined all of those elements? A porno with Soviet, Nazi, Crime and Horror sub-themes would be pretty cool. I've never seen all of these together at once, only two or three at a time.

This was banned in Finland in 30s, it's not banned anymore. Quite a few films were banned in the early days of Finland's independence, very often for political reasons.
