the title?

Granted I was not watching this film on Turner Classic with rapt attention but can anyone tell me what the "key" to this film was. Was there literally a key that plays a part in the film?

I think it was the figurative key to a successful marriage, finding out that ghosts from the past don't have to remain between husband and wife. She could put to rest her fantasies of an old flame by meeting him again and realizing that he can't compare with her husband who she'd come to love.

Actually, it represented The Arran Quay (prounounced "KEY") District, where Donald Crisp's Character hides out. A "Hot Spot" infested with, and protected by snipers.

"I do hope he won't upset Henry.."
