What did you rate ''Jimmy the Gent'' (1934)?
The colorful and often hilarious patter of tough guys and tougher broads is the best thing about this fast-paced comedy—unless the best thing is the performances of its two leads, the explosively energetic Jimmy Cagney and the smart, sassy Bette Davis. Never approaches greatness, but it's entertaining until a too-abrupt resolution of the central conflict.
I rated it 7/10 for the database: imdb.com/title/tt0025330/ratings. What did you rate it? What did you think of it?
