sharelst time seeing this movie. Bette was a cutie back in the day, before excess smoking ruined her looks. Great actress, nice chemistry with Jimmy and a decent film. Enjoyed it.....
shareI didn't think it was that bad, but certainly not her best work. She didn't seem to put much effort into it. But you have to remember Bette was also unhappy being assigned to this film, as was Cagney. Both of them detested the script and she thought it was beneath her talent and was a "throwaway" film.
