Quest for Complete film - 1934 Great Expectations, with Valerie Hobson

Movie girl: Just briefly, I have always loved period pieces with 19th century settings; Charles Dickens novels, etc. In 1934 I taped the wonderful Great
Expectations with Jane Wyatt who gave a fine portrayal as Estella, the seemingly uncaring and selfish love of Pip. Another key performance was executed by Valerie Hobson who was governess to Pip and nurse to his unpleasant sister, Mrs. Joe Gargery. She was eventualy attacked by the maniacal handyman Orlick in their forge.
A few months later I needed a blank tape and taped over this film thinking it would be re-aired.
The next time (and every subsequent airing) it was missing Valerie Hobson and Orlick's characters! Even the professional VHS in the 90's and later the DVD
is missing the scenes.

I felt that Valerie gave a fine performance as Biddy and would like to find the
film complete again. Does anyone know how to get the original film on VHS or DVD? IT cannot have been cut for commercials, for the professional renderings are
messed up too, sad to say. If anyone can help, please contact:
