shareGrable's legs were ever so slightly soft, Rogers' were more muscular. Which you prefer to look at is a matter of personal taste, although of course in the 1930s and 1940s, slightly soft legs were in fashion.
IMHO Grable made a huge deal out of her legs because she could hardly boast about her talents as an actress or dancer. Rogers was a decent actress, and a fantastic dancer, even if she spent the 1930s learning in front of the camera (she did!).
