I must have missed something at the end...who did Snap bring on board? Why did he come out laughing when he met up with William Powell & Bette Davis?

shareI've seen the film several times and don't ever remember being confused before. I wonder if there there is another tape out there with a missing scene?
shareConsidering that throughout the film his rendezvous with various ladies were aborted for one reason or another, perhaps the point was that, when leaving the cabin/room/whatever it was this time, his mission had finally been "accomplished"and he walked away happily with his friends.
