This is such a great picture.

This film has it all over Meet Joe Black. It's witty, thoughtful, beautifully acted and photographed, and has an all-star cast, with sets and costumes and cinematography to -- well, die for.

I cannot understand why people loved this movie. I hated the ending utterly! Maybe Death finds love, but what about the spurned lover---he also loved Grazia with all his heart! She couldn't really have been in love with him as she didn't know him---remember her being frightened to death when he first made contact with her in the garden? Why is she all-of-a-sudden so "comfortable" with Death?

But isn't it the same as every story that starts out "'girl-meets-boy/ girl -can't-stand boy/ later girl & boy-are true- loves-4ever"?? She realized he was her destiny.

The early bird might get the worm, but the 2nd mouse gets the cheese!
