That song 'I Only Have Eyes for You'....

...was written (by composer Harry Warren and lyricist Al Dubin) for this movie, and sung by Dick Powell and Ruby Keeler. I never knew that! I had always thought that the doowop version sung by The Flamingos in the late 50's was the original. Imagine my surprise upon watching "Dames" when I discovered that Dick Powell and Ruby Keeler did the original! Now THAT'S entertainment! lol

"A little old lady got mutilated late last night... Werewolves of London again."

...And that was also a mid-70's hit for Art Garfunkle as well! (Music trivia)
But I really did like the film. It was cute.

Trust me,

This is my all-time favorite Harry Warren/Al Dubin song from the Busby films.
I never heard any of the other versions.

If you're true, the whole wide world will laugh with you

It was Ruby Keeler's favorite song from all of her movies.
