Helen Hayes and Fanny Brice

About 48 minutes into 1934's "Crime Without Passion," the camera pans through the lobby of a New York hotel, and seated there are Helen Hayes and Fanny Brice(although Fanny's face is hidden by her hat).Their respective husbands,Charles MacArthur and Ben Hecht(who wrote, produced and directed the feature in NYC),can be seen early on,interviewing Claude Rains outside the courtroom(Hecht is the one smoking a pipe). This was the 2 veteran screenwriters first foray behind the camera.
