Well made but Douglas Fairbanks Jr is some much more beautiful ( with or without his powered wig) then his leading lady Elizabeth Bergner ,his beauty is distracting in this role of a mad emperor .

Fairbanks Jr. and Flora Robson were good. I didn't like Bergner much. The movie was not that good, but there were a few scenes that I really liked.
