According to the ads, this year it will be on in it's original Black & White and not the edited colorized version they have been showing the last few years. Looking forward to it. Never really cared for the look of the Turnerized version of the classic movies.

Here in New York on WPIX-11 it was the edited colorized version followed by the Laurel and Hardy short "The Live Ghost". It was played twice (once at 10 AM and again at 3 PM) and in between each airing were a bunch of episodes of the Honeymooners. I'm just glad that one local station still pays attention to holiday traditions.

Good for WPIX. I don't live in that area anymore but this movie was one of my favorite holiday traditions growing up. I even loved to watch the commercials for it on WPIX.

They do it every year. It's the only day of the year that I leave the TV on all day long.

It was on Christmas day as well. Think they did colorized on Thanksgiving and black ops white on. Christmas

Hi,
I can't believe that there is still life out here after all this time. If you missed it this year don't worry about it. It will be on next year too. So, you only have ten more months to go :)
