I was surprised to see that TCM aired a cut version of this film. At least one scene has been cut; the rape scene of Sally in the freight car. I'm wondering if there have been other scenes cut as well, and if the dvd is censored as well. It is not like TCM to show edited versions of films.

the "forbidden hollywood" dvd is not cut.

I've seen the Forbidden Hollywood DVD version (produced by TCM!) and I didn't see anything in that rape scene that would need to be censored today on TCM channel. It only suggested rape nothing was shown. They generally don't censor/edit the films they broadcast for time or content, especially ones from the very early 30s, even before the Hays Code!
