An awful cheat

At the end of Chapter Six there is one of those terrible "cheats" that always irritated fans of serials. At the end of Chapter six you see the hero falling out of a window and down the side of the building. But at the beginning of the next chapter they changed the scene so that he grabs the edge of the window! That is what serial fans used to call a "cheat".
