Boy, didn't they notice how much cheek Buster was flaunting? It must have been difficult sitting on the dining room furniture back at the hut in the trees!

I'm watching TARZAN THE FEARLESS on TCM right now and Buster Crabbe is showing a lot of ass! The scene where Buster Crabbe spanks a monkey is unintentionally (and hilariously) kinky.

Much better bod and also cuter than Weissmuller. See him in "We're Rich Again," (1934) also shows on TCM . . he goes through the entire film in a short,tight bathing suit.

He was able to show so much butt because this was made before the Production Code was rigidly enforced. Weissmuller's loincloth was skimpy at first too but got a lot more modest after the second movie. BTW--I also agree--Crabbe was the best Tarzan ever:)
