The synopsis for this movie should be...

Carl Denham, not content with having dragged King Kong back with him to New York City and to an early death, returns to Skull Island to plunder more of it's treasures, both literally and figuratively. This leads to the death of everything on the island (including Kong's son) and, in fact, the destruction of the entire island itself. Don't worry, though, he gets off scot free again and even hooks up.
