"Miranda rights" are an American institution and did not become case law until 1966, as a result of the Supreme Court decision in Miranda v. Arizona.

"Anything you say may be taken down and used in evidence against you" is an admonishment to apprehended criminals in Great Britain long preceding the U.S. criminal law requirement.

Exactly! I found this out after posting. I was so curious about how they had the wording when it hadn't even happened yet that I looked it up online and discovered what you just stated. Thank you for commenting. I should have deleted my original post once I looked up the answer.
