i just saw this film for the first time, i understand it was made pre-code and gee did ginger rogers have a good figure, however when was the hays office set up and why?

I have read that the Production Code Administration under Hays was established in 1930, but didn't start to enforce its guidelines (i.e., censorship) till 1934. So Professional Sweetheart (1933) got in under the wire ... and it really shows!! I think it's a delightful movie, and Ginger sure looks great! She's the lead, and there is plenty of her to look at!

Gingers maid Theresa Harris looked beautiful too. And sang better than her..and danced the shimmy so much better after all it originated from a black woman.
