The world needs a dvd release of Liebelei... now!

It certainly does: in fact they should have a boxed set of all of Ophuls' movies.

Watched it on MUBI the other day, but the print is definitely in need of a restoration. And the English subtitles are dreadful. The film deserves some better treatment.
