Fantastic news: Back on January 23, 2004, the Digital Bits indicated that a DVD release of Gold Diggers of 1933 is in the works, but no date is set. The DVD would also include the surviving portions of Gold Diggers of Broadway. Now if they'd just release Footlight Parade we'd have DVDs of the three great Warner musicals from 1933.

Agree FANTASTIC news. Cant wait to get the DVD - have been wanting my own copy for years, always meant to video it but never got round to it.

Wow, that's awesome. Are they planning on releasing any other musicals as well?

This movie is so hard to find even on VHS, so I'm definitely going to be on the look out for this one...
