Near the end of the "Forgotten Man" number, the camera pans down a number of "forgotten men" standing in a soup/bread line. One is obviously hoofer Donald O'Connor. It coudln't be called a "cameo" because he was unknown at the time. He is just standing there in a bit part.
Wouldn't he have only been seven or eight years old when this was made? I read he didn't start acting until age 12.

Yes, I agree. I couldn't have been him, who was only about 10 years old then. But it still LOOKS like him! (He had 2 brothers......)??
Nope. Not O'Connor. He was a little kid when this was made.
