I admit enjoying The Ghost Camera more than I expected. There was intriguing chemistry between the male and female lead, which made for an enjoyable viewing experience. Also for avid cinephiles, The Ghost Camera was edited by David Lean before he became a director and screen writer.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.
Even at such a young age, Ida Lupino was showing signs of being an extremely gifted actress. I recommend seeing her in the 1940s thriller Ladies in Retirement, and also in the 1950s noir On Dangerous Ground.
