No accident that this was written & produced by left-wing Democrats

William Randolph Hearst and that old fraud FDR -- both totally corrupt and power-mad -- cooked up this propaganda piece to smooth the way for complete dictatorship by the socialist Democrats that were so enamored of Stalinist communism.

And here we are, 80-odd years later, with yet another fascist Democrat trying to bypass Congress and the judiciary to rule strictly by "executive orders." And, coincidentally, totally supported by the same media that fell in lockstep behind the last would-be Democrat Dictator.

The only real difference is that instead of the media being controlled by Hearst & a few cronies in Hollywood, there are a lot more socialist media pukes drooling over Obama and covering up for him.

So true! All these years since Obama's been in office and after all the things he's done, I'm shocked a lot of people still can't see through him and others in his party. They're fooled just as I was by the title of this movie.

I'm glad I saw the movie but it was a different movie than I felt the title suggests.

Except it was a fascist right-wing coup, admirers of Hitler, who tried to overthrow FDR in 1935. Luckily Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler, a Marine hero, was able to stop you fascists from taking over this nation.

Butler was gullible - to put it mildly. Recruitment of half a million veterans to overthrow the government would hardly have been practical.

Yes, William Randolph Hearst, the uber-capitalist baron enamored of fascism, a man who, on a regular basis, actually employed Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini and Joseph Goebbels to create content for his publications, was secretly "enamored of Stalinist communism" all along. I can tell you know lots and lots about this subject.

Hearst supported FDR when this movie was produced, and only broke with FDR in 35. Most papers went Republican in 36.
