Loved it!

The film may have been corny in plot but it was very entertaining. I espcecially loved the Carioca number and the unbelievable scene with the girls on top of airplanes. The scene where they realized they were in Haiti and not some jungle was funny too when the black wild man turned out to be cultured.

I loved the movie too but that scene was kind of odd.

At first it was too funny. It plays on people's closed-minded stereotypes. Her first thought when she sees a group of shirtless black guys is that they're jungle savages coming to attack her.

When they reveal they're on a beach resort, I laughed so hard and though, how nice, they're showing how people should not jump to conclusions. Then, like that, it was totally ruined. The golfer quickly goes from a guy on an early morning golf outing to instant porter in one second. She doesn't ask for his help; she just tells him to 'come along' and has him take her baggage. Wow, one step forward; two steps back.

Also, why does that guy have a British accent? He might have been a tourist but based on what he says I got the impression he's a native. If that's the case, he should have spoken with a French, not a British, accent as French is the language of Haiti.

I still enjoyed the movie quite a bit.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
