Ugh---- *spoilers*
Way back then, I guess this was quite a titillating film~~~a woman (*gasp*) as head of a giant automobile factory, running things just like a man supposedly would, with sexuality in over-drive (was this supposed to be "like a man", too?), a voracious appetite for men and power, then, sick of it all, she decides to become The Little Woman, eager to give over her entire industry to a lowly employees she's seen to be chasing all over creation, (notice she has to best him even then, in a shooting game) and agreeing to give the new boss a pile of children and be his hausfrau. Yuck....
The staging was eye-popping, beautiful people, gowns, furnishings, etc., but ugly and unfulfilling (we are to believe) in reality, I feel the message being "Ma'am, you have no business here---get back home and put your apron on and let the menfolk do the thinking around here". Of course, the only person who can get away with murder around the boss-lady is a small, meek, homely Englishman, who flirts with all the girls, pours the boss' tea and makes silly remarks. OK, I'm done now......
