DELUGE to be remade as DAY AFTER TOMORROW

After reading about DAY AFTER TOMORROW, and what a friend told me about the trailer he just saw, I'm convinced that Emmerich's (GODZILCH & IDIOT4) upcoming end-of-the-world blockbuster is essentially a remake of DELUGE.

I always felt that the original version could be remade and improved (Story & naturally, FX). Will Lord Emmerich be the one to really rise all the way to the great occasion? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM - Check his previous credits and you tell me.
