Who was the martyr haunting the halls?

I didn't catch the name of the character, but there was a woman in a floral print dress floating down the hall in several scenes with an incredible, martyred grace.

That was Goldie, Tedesco's secretary (Tedesco is Barrymore's partner in the firm,) played by Angela Jacobs. We only ever see her either walking back and forth to the commode or leaving or arriving for work.

Oddly, this is Angela Jacobs only screen credit!? But, I think Isobel Jewell steals this movie. As Bessie, her sing-song answering of the switchboard calls is priceless. "Simon and Tedesco, who's calling please"!!
