Tie in With Snow White?

I just watched this movie, and the moth outfit she's wearing reminded me immediately of the queen's outfit in Snow White. Then I went to the trivia page for SW and read that the queen's wardrobe was inspired by an outfit in a movie called "She" made in 1935. I haven't seen this movie and can't find any depictions of a costume like that linked to it, so I can't speculate on that tangent, but I'm damned if the costume from Christopher Strong isn't almost on the money...

"South Bend... It sounds like dancing!"

Wow! Hats off to you for making the connection between Hepburn's fabulous costume and the Evil Queen of Snow White! I hadn't heard of the film "She" so I am going to find the 1935 version of the film, which I think will be a lot of fun. Apparently the novel "She," by Henry Rider Haggard, hasn't out of print since it was first published in 1888. Thanks for your post!
