Interesting movie but it pissed me off

**SPOILER ALERT**

Marge was way too nonchalant about her man falling for high society girl UNTIL he had that red lipstick on his lips. On top of that she wanted to remained friends with him! I'm sorry but in real life, I'm sure a cat fight would ensued along with Marge clocking him upside his head and leave his ass standing there after swooning and kissing another woman. I cringed at some parts of the movie when Blacky and Marian were in newlywed bliss while Marge stood there like everything was fine!

What man on earth talk so gleefully about another other chick unless he is a dumbass? Blacky was an *beep* while Marge too oblivious to see it and let Marian sweep him up under her naive nose. It did serve him right getting his heartbroken at the end, though. It didn't surprise me he took Marge back in a heartbeat, after his airhead wife dumped him while the ex, like a good little house girl she is, waited in the wings for him to come back. Kinda predictable at the end. A okay movie but I wasn't happy about how the characters, especially Marge was betrayed. I do think she somehow knew they'll be together again, because of Blacky and Marian lifestyle differences and Marian's mother like a roadblock in their marriage.

If anyone didn't watch Primrose Path, please check it out with Ginger Rogers and Joel McCrea as lovers to see a better reality about relationships! Better than this crap.

SOOO true! I get that Marge didn't want to be perceived as jealous and insecure, but she didn't even put up a fight for Blacky. And then it was one thing to take the high road with the society girl and make peace, but Marge ended up being a doormat. I was fine with them remaining friends, but it appeared Marge's life ended when Blacky married Glory and she had nothing better to do with her time except bust her butt doing everything for them. And Blacky was completely insensitive to her feelings. When he finally got what he deserved, there she was willing to be second best as long as she got him somehow. I only watched this because I loved McCrea and Rogers in The Primrose Path which, again, is SOOO much better.

The story was interesting but it was incredibly executed. I can see Marge still loving Blacky but she never has a moment of anger toward him, especially after he's been jerking her around for two years in a rather chaste romance and then he falls head over heels with some little society dame (who isn't even as pretty as Marge but then that's probably due to the producers wanting to keep the viewer's partial to Ginger) and marries her before you could blink. The worse part to me even at the end Blacky doesn't seem any more passionate to poor Marge than he was at the beginning, rather just grateful she's comfortable and someone he can be at ease with.
