Red wasn't Aggie's husband, but it was implied that he was essentially her common law husband drednm. Additionally the Zazu Pitts character was not Aggie's sister as drednm stated. I'm guessing he assumed much and payed attention less.

I'm watching it now. You are correct about Red not being Aggie's husband, but there is a line between the two women early on that starts "You might be my sister, but ...."

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of this!
