Just aired on TCM

Excellent little comedy.

A very young Ginger Rogers and a funny and very fit Joe E. Brown.

Worth watching.

Seeing "FARINA" from the "Little Rascals" was great-there are so many film pioneers in this "FLICKER"
Ginger Rogers-what a dish!

Oh, I'm not sure exactly which month I had seen this delightful film which I had been wishing to experience for a number of years, but it's well worth the time if you have the opportunity to catch You Said a Mouthful.

Ginger Rogers as the sweet, encouraging, quick-thinking ingenue, Farina as the young smart, quick-witted assistant, Joe E. Brown in a great performance as a hapless sap who gets caught up in this experimental challenge, and Preston Foster and several other familiar faces to flesh out the wonderful cast.

Of course, it's silly little escapism but with plenty of good sports in its roles, and it provides plenty of splashy seaside fun even for all of our wonderful Aquaphobic fans among us.
