Madge Bellamy as a zombie: how could you tell??

There is no discernable difference between her normal and zombie state. Could this actress be any more wooden before Bela gets his hands on her?

I agree, except for when she was talking and smiling. Imagine, a zombie playing classical music on the piano!

Her final smile and last line were kind of touching. Other than that, she looked like a wooden doll.

The eerie part about the final line is that she still doesn't show much in the way of emotion. It almost made me wonder if they were trying to imply that she was still zombified even after Legendre's death. Of course, if they had been trying to go with a downbeat open-ending like that, they wouldn't have followed it up with a joke about having a match.

Maybe so, but for an early 1930's actress, she was really nice eye candy...
