Favorite Part (spoliers)

Just wonderin bout ppl's fav. parts in this film. Mine was towards the end, when all of the zombies plunged single file of of the cliff. I also thoroughly enjoyed how lugosi's character was excellent at clenching his fists together, and staring ominously at the screen. I *beep* my pants, at least twice ;P

One fav. part is the look on Charles Beaumont's face when Legendre (Lugosi) reveals he has drugged him. "Only a pin-prick, mssr.!"

My favorite was the mill scene, especially the shot that goes through the rot iron gate. I was really impressed by that for some reason.

Two parts: The ride in the carriage at the beginning of the movie as the locals warn the riders about the Zombies, and the wedding.

My favorite part is something about Lugosi saying, "to you, they are the angels of death". I must view this film again today. I have a VHS copy and it always fascinated me because I thought there were undertones to it.

My favorite part was the mill scene; it was very creepy and unsettling, with that truly ominous creaking noise in particular proving to be positively unnerving.

My favorite scene is when Beaumont is poisoned & realizes what is happening to him, and then Bela carving at the table w/ him & taunting him. I also liked the scene where Madeleine is a zombie & sitting at the piano w/ vacant eyes, and Beaumont says he thought her beauty would be enough for him, but he doesn't want her this way, w/ no soul!

My 9 y/o daughter & I both loved every time Bela would clench his hands together & pierce his eyes into the camera - my daughter kept mimicking that b/c she thought he was cool!

I too liked when the zombie fell into the mill, and no one seemed to mind having bloody sugar.
I was hoping at the end that the zombies would wake up and kill Legendare, but falling off the cliff was fun too.

the beginning really reminds alot of "night of the living dead", that's my favorite part of the movie too, the mood of the movie is similar to "i eat your skin" and "live and let die" (last example unexpected, right?), i recognised the music right away from the 1994 ed wood movie, that is some weird background music throughout this flick, i thought it often felt like watching a silent movie, i guess that was still clinging on pretty near by the time this movie was made.

gonna jump on a freight train,
and leave this chilly place,
the people here don't mean me no good,
a dark cloud hanging over no matter what i do,
missin your sweetness,
difference from all the rest,
the kindness of your heart girl seem so unreal,
from the crackpot crazy capital to these lonesome dusty streets,
the rail i wanna ride,
to a place lord where the people treat me right.
