Allan Gray not Allan Grey?

Both IMDb and wikipedia currently list the central character as Allan Grey but the original German intertitles seem to have him as Allan Gray.

I'm not sure if the alternate David name is Grey or Gray but (on the face of it), the correct original name is Allan Gray...unless anybody has better evidence against?
