It's always a pleasure to watch Ms Bennett. So lovely. Her character wasn't too likable though. I liked that although she remained a clothes horse in this vehicle, the rest of the plot had some grit to it and it wasn't all fluff and glamour.

I like the plot of this movie.

I am almost as old as this film, and honestly Echo, I think you are as beautiful as any of the Bennett's but are you implying that there really was a plot to this film: And a juror jumps out of the juror box (claiming that he is the foreman), and settles the whole tiny tale. First, the jury foreman is not selected until after the trial and they have retreated to the Jury Room and if I were the Judge, I'd have throw the book at this man. Really, a plot? Where did they hide it?

Lol Tadeo,

At this point I can't remember the film. I'd have to re-watch it to defend it. I watch so many of these old movies that less famous ones like this one kind of get lost in my head.

There must have been something about the plot that was fun or interesting. From what I wrote it appears I was glad the film wasn't just a vehicle to use Miss Bennett as a clothes horse.

It's possible I was overreaching to say something constructive because I really love watching these Pre-Code films especially.

Thank you for your comment :)

I'll have to rewatch it soon!
