GLAD I GOT TO SEE THIS!!!!

And here I thought I'd seen just about every Harlow movie!!!

When this was on TCM, (& by the way, we all owe them a huge thank you!!) I was so glad to be able to see it.....had never heard of it!!!

Now you have to remember that she was only 20 or 21 yrs. old here!!! born 1911, do the math....yet she came across as so poised and professional in this!!! I think this may be one of her best performances!! all the nuances in the comedic moments, especially.

I feel as thought I've just found a lost treasure!!!
now if only it'd be released on dvd!!

I had a chance to meet Andy Devine in the late 1960's at a dinner theater and got his autograph....BUT I had no idea he'd ever worked with Harlow!!! wish I could have asked him if her eyes were really violet, as was written about at the time......sigh - what a lost opportunity!!!
