Don't know about you people, but the scene in the office, where Dr Baum first hears and then sees the ghost of Mabuse is damn scary. The way Mabuse looks in this scene freaked me out.

Same here, but the voice was just as creepy, the way he was whispering his prophesy... eery stuff
shareMabuse's plan of action, to create fear and terror in the general public to remake society, is scarily prescient to what is happening in the world today.
That whole scene between Mabuse's ghost and Professor Baum is truly frightening.
