Did anyone see this?

Goofs
Revealing mistakes: When Fredric March and Norma Shearer draw back after a farewell kiss in the garden, a thick, glistening strand of saliva can easily be seen between them.

I went back and re-watched the scene looking for it but could not.

I DVR'd this movie back in July and just watched yesterday. Yes, you can very clearly see the strand of saliva between their mouths! And neither actor breaks character although I think they are also aware of the "goof". Funny to see something like that, especially in an old movie.

Sadly, I had to pause the film near the end and I accidentally deleted it! I had maybe 10 minutes to go, so hope TCM will rerun it soon. Just loved it!

I saw it first time. Maybe HD makes a difference. It was fairly obvious.

Hey, netshopper-2! If you want yo see the film again, I do hope you've seen that "Smilin' Through" is playing on TCM again this coming Tues, Nov 17th, 2015. I don't know if there's a way to send a comment or alert to a particular IMDb member but I sure wish I could let you know it's on in just a few days!

Download the "TCM" Mobile app to see if you can access this film at some other point in the near future. TCM typically have any given film available for streaming for a few weeks beyond its broadcast date so you should have many other opportunities to see it in November available.

Hope uou check this Message Board in the next few days so you can catch the last 10 or so minutes you missed last June! Good luck!!!
