Am I the *only person* who has seen this film?

I admit it: I knew this film was a bit obscure. That being said, I can't believe that I'm the first person to post regarding it.

Was anyone else fortunate enough to see this in a theatre? There seem to be a couple of bootleg DVDs floating around, but I'm hoping that this film might perhaps be a staple of film festivals. This would, for instance, be a great movie to start off a programme of films that take place on a train, seeing as how it's the grandfather of practically all of them.

At any rate, I'm glad I was afforded a chance to see it on the Silver Screen. While I'm not sure it holds up quite as well as, say, The Lady Vanishes, it definitely has its moments (with Conrad Veidt giving a standout performance as Zurta).

I finally saw it and must admit that I wasn't expecting the end to be so subtle. Conrad was excellent! He made you feel threatened throughout the film. I highly enjoyed the evil as always. haha

I watched it today. It had some clever editing but it weren't really that memorable to me. It reminded me of the Orient Express by Agatha Christie but without the mystery and suspense. The only scene that gave me a joyous feeling was when McBain found the picture.
Was Veidt the tallest one in the cast? He seemed to tower over everybody.

Don't tell me, it's no use to me. Tell yourself if you want to but don't tell me.
