where was this filmed?
good assumption is Hollywood but seeing the butterfly in the hut made me wonder. Usually IMDb has a link for filming locations. There are some fantastic lines in here.
shareIn Old Hollywood they often used the Los Angeles Arboretum for jungle scenes, combined with much backprojection and gussied-up backlot ditches posing as rivers. Some of the scenes in Red Dust, however look a bit more wild. It's a pretty safe bet they didn't go on location in the Far East.
Surprising the filming locations or any other section is vacant on a picture as popular as this one. Someone who is on IMDb Pro, please remedy.
