Interesting shots

I'm not one to usually pay much attention to things like this or write about them but I not only noticed but really enjoyed the camera work during the transitions to the flashback scenes. The camera pulled away then scanned over to the right as if flying through time. It was done quite a few times but it never got old. I'd never seen anything like it before or since.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]

That was one of the things that struck me about this movie when I saw it on Channel 50 in Detroit back in the '80s, along with Curtis' motive for trying to solve the mystery, although I had misremembered (having finally seen the movie again) Curtis as being an unsavory private detective who'd brought a gang of thugs and forgotten the great ending ("Thank you... Mr. Curtis, was it?"). I'm tempted to seek a DVD copy.
