Loved it, looking forward to more

I've only seen this, the first of the series of mysteries, but I love it. I look forward to seeing the others especially the other two with Edna Mae Oliver. It's too bad she didn't make more than three. It would have been a nice episodic TV show too.

I love the chemistry between Miss Withers and Inspector Piper. They not only worked well together to solve the mystery but their flirtations were cute and so unexpected. I was so happy with the ending.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]

I loved it, but I must agree that the actual mystery is rather average at best.

But there was so much to love! The aquarium, the penguins, the students!

And that cast! So many favorites!

Edna May Oliver (from Pride and Prejudice, Alice in Wonderland and David Copperfield (from which I get my sig line,))

James Gleason (Here Comes Mr. Jordan)

Mae Clarke (Frankenstein! And she gest a grapefruit shoved in her face in Public Enemy!)

Robert Armstrong (He's Carl Denham in King Kong! And The Lost Squadron is a must-see airplane movie with Erich von Stroheim as a crazy movie director!)

And also, super sexy Rochelle Hudson! (Wild Boys of the Road, The Savage Girl, Poppy and Mr. Moto Takes a Chance. Also, she's Natalie Wood's mom in Rebel Without a Cause.)

Janet! Donkeys!

That end scene was funny because of the rush they were in. I wonder if they made it in time? And whether they will pursue that in the second of the series? I've noticed that her character is still Hildegarde Withers in the cast list for the second film. But no Miss in front of it.
