Any more like it?
I liked this move, and it's eerie atmosphere. By the way are there any "caught in a thunderstorm" or "forced to stay for a reading of a will" type movies out there today? I could go for a what I call a "popcorn movie." That's one in which you cuddle up on the couch or bed and get scared out of your wits, or are at the end of your seat wondering whodunit -- or who will make it out alive.
While there are some good movies out there today, they rarely show the old Victorian houses with the spooky atmosphere, the sense of being trapped, unable to leave because the bridge is washed out or the phone is dead, or the secret passages and locked doors of the 50's-70's, maybe 80's movies.
Everything is now set in the newer homes -- but no thunderstorms! I did like
"The Others."
