Laura Hope Crews

The actress made a habit of playing prudes, sticklers for a shared moral code that things must be done right for appearances. From Her first film to Her last She pretty much echoed the same character. In NEW MORALS FOR OLD 1932 She basically recreated the overly possessive Mother that She did on stage in THE SILVER CORD in 1926 which She would repeat on the screen for R.K.O. in 1933.
