If the Music Box was done today I'll give you odds it would be an animated short. You just don't see theatrical live action shorts done this way these days. I can imagine somebody like Pixar doing a good job with a story like this one, yet to tell you the truth being that it's already been done and is so familiar it would came off as a rippoff if they really did it.
shareActually, this theme was done recently...as an episode of the 1980s sitcom "Perfect Strangers". In this episode, the guys are moving a piano up the stairs to the 10th floor of an apartment building. Personally, I think that "The Music Box" is funnier!
